After several years, we traveled back to Saanen. This village is also easily accessible from French-speaking Switzerland. Contrary to what is usual at the end of January, there was no snow in the village, but the slopes were surprisingly well-groomed. A few days earlier, the weather forecast had predicted gray skies. We therefore appreciated these two days of glorious sunshine all the more! Everyone was able to enjoy the magnificent weather, whether skiing, hiking (on snowshoes), or taking the train.
We were 19 participants, a rather modest number considering the total membership of the association, but similar to previous years. Regionally, we came from A for Aeugst and Auenstein to B for Bern and Biel to T for Thun and Turbenthal to Z for Zurich.

The hostel offered modern multi-bed rooms. The food was more like school lunches. We were satisfied, but nothing more. However, the traditional Saturday evening aperitif was much appreciated, and after dinner came the inevitable quiz, with several questions, most of them related to naturism, which sparked lively discussions. Another quiz tested our knowledge of the Saanen-Gstaad region. The atmosphere was cheerful; the two children added to the fun.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to organize naturist activities in this type of accommodation. Except for two of us:

Most of the participants didn't know each other and found it enriching to share their naturist experiences. Plans were also made to visit each other's club properties.
